The Inevitability of Change Change is a process of developing, maturing and growing as one rides the roller coaster of life, well that’s what I originally defined change to be. I started the changing self module about nine months ago and in that time my thoughts have changed. They are more articulate and seek to specify the different modes of change through the physical, emotional, philosophical and moral selves. The Gardiner and Atkin learning styles showed the way in which I learn. I do not believe that they are accurate, but show inclinations of the way in which I perceive modes of thought. With this knowledge taken on board I was able to begin looking at change through the way in which people think, perceive, and accept values in life as they develop. Part one of the process journal let me venture into the cultural aspects of change through the Vietnam War, texts such as Away, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and the G.I Jane article.
