The use of biologically-engineered foods has been a debating topic since it first arouse. ... However, there have been instances where the FDA was surpassed and unapproved bio-engineered food could have been released to the public for consumption. ... With the aid of the FDA, I believe that the use of bio-engineered food is not dangerous to the public. ...
While there are many benefits to this technology, I feel that it is important for agencies like the FDA, the APHIS (Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service), and the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) to continue carefully monitoring and researching these products.
