Sociological Theories Human existence has been given many perceptions and exhumed theories; sociology has no exception. ... Although all these theories are attractive and great in idea two seize the imagination of this simple sociological study-Erving Goffman’s theory of self and stigma as well as Karl Marx’s idea of macro-materialism. Both of these theories are strong-minded in their idea and hypothesis, furthermore each relevant to current world events. In the following I will describe Goffman’s and Marx’s theories and how they relate to current world events. ... In ending, both of these theories have many things differences, however they have a different way of bring aspects into scope.
