James Joyce’s, Arady, gives us a look at a young boy experiencing his first infatuation with a young lady. His obsession begins with watching her every morning waiting for her to leave her house. He does this for a chance to follow her so that he can feel close to her. His feelings where so overwhelming he could not bring himself to talk to her. This was until the day she spoke to him. He was so surprised he found it hard to speak. In an attempt to show his love for her he offered to bring her something from the bazaar.
