A pearl unicorn
Once upon a time there was an island called Burdett Island. A pack of dark chocolate-colored horses lived there, and one lonely unicorn named Paprica. She was very unhappy but kind to all living creatures. Paprica had a miserable life because all the dark chocolate-colored horses were cruel and jealous of her shiny silver horn. Paprica was a beautiful white, pearl unicorn with a silky white mane. She had sky blue eyes that sparkled like the stars in the night sky. It was a sunny day while Paprica was trotting along the grassy fields; she decided to take a drink of pleasant, chilly, and fresh water. As she trotted along the riverbank, she started to drink when she suddenly heard a voice. “Hey, what do you think you’re doing? These waters are only for the best, the horses! So you just leave us alone and go drink from that nasty little pond made for you!” said one of the horses they called Flare. Paprica said with fierce words “These waters are not only for you, but for everyone that lives here. So you should be kind and share!” Then Flare yelled back at Paprica saying with a fuming voice, “I thought I told you to get that ugly corn or whatever you call it, off my property!” Paprica replied almost petrified, “If that’s what you want then fine!” She galloped away with tears running down her face.
