Team Case Study on Family
I will start by giving you the definition of a team. A team is a number of people working together organized to function cooperatively as a group. There are many types of teams; there are sports teams, working teams, and even family teams. My focus will be on family teams. Everyone becomes a member of a family team starting at birth. I will use my family team as the topic of discussion.
I was raised in Memphis, Tennessee in a well-balanced family; I have one sister and one brother. I have been raised in a family with parents who are still together to this day. ... I would say that I learned more about family teams during that time of my life. ... I had to build a strong team at home in order to survive the everyday life of having a military spouse. We were a team that had to learn to survive with a lot of separation between us. ... Regretfully said, this family team eventually fell apart.
The forming of this team started the day of our marriage with two people working and communicating together to achieve their goals of starting a family. Part of forming this team is learning of commitment, understanding, having a sense of humor, communication skills, and being honest with each other. At the start of a marriage, you build the foundation and set the stage of a life-long meaningful marriage (team).
