Racing through the starlight sky silhouetted by breaths of fire, asteroid after asteroid penetrate earth’s atmosphere creating a light display resembling that of a fourth of July celebration. Stricken with fear and wonder, unable to move; nocturnal street dwellers and third shift workers lift their heads towards the night sky and watch steadily as the giant orbs of fire and stone hurtle towards the ground. Within a few seconds the first monstrous boulder makes contact with Earth, illuminating the area with an orange sulfuric glow. One after another, swarms of asteroids reach their destinations, electrifying the moonlight sky with explosions of nuclear proportions, stealing the lives of many hopeless souls with every blast. Another wave of destruction is on its way. Armageddon has begun. An echo of the destruction rushes towards neighboring towns carrying with it a fiery death. Distorted sounds, followed quickly by a shockwave only describable as the breath of God, wake the sleeping streets and dreary bed dwellers, transporting people into a state of confusion and paranoia.
