Abortion: A Case for Life
Have you ever imagined what life would be like if you were never born? What if your mother was pregnant with you and chose to abort you instead of giving you life? ... I believe abortion should be made illegal because it is immoral and unethical. There are alternate ways of dealing with an unplanned pregnancy such as adoption, and for the mother of the child abortion can be very risky and dangerous to her health. In my opinion, the whole practice of abortion is unnecessary, completely wrong, and should not be legal.
Abortion is the loss of a fetus before it is living outside the mother’s womb. In western civilization, for thousands of years, abortion was considered illegal only after the point in the pregnancy of four months when the baby has started kicking. ... Aristotle stated in his book titled “Politics” that “the line between lawful and unlawful abortion will be marked by the fact of having sensation and being alive”. This is saying that the right to life is even before birth, but it still leaves room for exceptions such as rape, incest, or fetal deformities.
