The Kidnap I awoke in the middle of the night by a strange noise. I slipped out of bed and walked toward my door. It was dark out but the weak glow of the moon added some light to my room. I peered out into the hall, but it was empty. I decided I had heard nothing and turned back to my bed. Halfway there a heavy object hit my head and everything went dark. When I regained consciousness I had a horrible headache. I wanted to rub my head, but I found my hands bound behind my back. Also I found my feet chained to wall. A caged animal, I fought against the chains a wall. A caged animal, I fought against the chains that imprisoned me. Finally, exhausted and weak I fell asleep. I have no idea how long I slept, but when I again woke up the pain in my head wasn’t nearly as severe.
