Nature
When I was standing out in the quad area at the School, several different themes occurred to me that I may write about. I considered writing about specific parts of nature, such as a single tree, or single creature, and then I had considered writing about the relationships in nature, or even the general state of nature. However, contemplating nature I couldn’t help myself but wander exactly what I was contemplating. After all, what IS nature?
It seems unlikely in my opinion that any two persons would have the exact same definition of “nature” and even less likely that a person’s definition of “nature” would remain constant throughout his or her lifetime. Some may consider nature easy to define, but is that really so? Some would suggest that nature is living plants, obviously to consider something a plant it would have to be under the Plant Kingdom of the seven scientific kingdoms. This however would seem slightly contradictory to the more popular transcendentalist belief that technology is against nature, for as such, how could one base his or her very own beliefs on scientific principles?
