Here the speaker would like to do something to improve his status, while in The Seafarer the speaker just tells the story from a pacifist position, only narrating the story. ... In The Wanderer the language is more difficult to undestand and its constant use of caesura seems to disorganize the structure allowing misinterpretations. ...
