The Effects of Divorce on Children
Sixty percent of marriages in the United States end in divorce. ... The sad part is most of these people that divorce have kids. Divorce affects children differently, depending on their gender, age and stage of development. Their world, their security and their stability seems to fall apart when their parents divorce. I myself come from a divorce family, so I know how hard it is not having both parents.
Children from divorced families are somewhat worse off than children who have lived in intact families.
