Passion, the Fruit of Life

Many people can relate to words associating with passion; whether be passion fruit or passion flavor, or on a more religious term; Passion Sunday or Passion Week. There are even several religious groups named Passion as well as plays depicting the life of Jesus performed near Easter entitled Passion. But, what exactly does the noun, passion, mean? As the online edition of the Merriam-Webster Unabridged Dictionary tells us its first definition;
“love; a strong liking or desire for or devotion to some activity, object, or concept; sexual desire; an object of desire or deep interest”
This sounds like the passion that most of us know. ... For example, Justine has a passion for soccer; she just can’t stop playing. ... But, the Merriam-Webster Unabridged online dictionary has another definition too;
“the emotions as distinguished from reason; intense, driving, or overmastering feeling or conviction; an outbreak of anger”
