Harry Potter Vs. Parents
In this paper I will be illustrating to you why my book Harry Potter by J. ... I will be telling you why the parents of the children that have read the book and the parents of the children that have not read the book are trying to get the booked banned so that you have to be a specific age to buy the book.
I have read the book Harry Potter and I have watched the movie and I do not see any reason why this book should be banned. ... Some of these parents were skeptical at first and wanted to read the end of the book with their children but found out that the book had no effect on the children in an emotional way as seen by this quote “My daughter has read all the books now, and I said to her about the ending of Goblet of Fire, When you reach chapter 30, Mommy’s going to read it to you, all right?” These parents thought that their kid were going to get frightened by the book “ Because I thought, I’m going to have to hug her, and I’ve got to explain the stuff.” What parents these days do not get is that their children are living a much different live then they lived when they were kids. ... It surprises parents when they go to talk to their children about stuff like drugs and sex and they just look at them like I know all of this why are you so nervous. As these skeptical parents read the book to their children and got to the part in the book when the character died they are surprised to see that they are not fazed at all by what happed. ... and she went, “oh, it’s not Harry. ... ” This right here is a great example of why these parents should just let their children read the book because most parents have no clue that most if not all of the evil in this book will not faze their children one bit, most of the kids like the book.
