Authority
What exactly is authority? Specifically in the Encarta World English Online Dictionary the
exact definition of authority is: “The right to command: The right or power to enforce rules or
give orders.” On the contrary, to me authority represents all things that govern my own life. ... They are my personal authority, law enforcement, and teachers.
I will start with the beginning of my everyday life to explain my personal authority. ... If there is an accident and someone is injured, then I
will end up in front of a higher authority. ... I do not have to stay there nor do I even have to show up, but they still have authority
over part of my life.
