There are many different aspects in the game of soccer. One who does not know too much about it would not have a clue to why there are so many players on the field. In a game there can be several different formations, but the one that is most common is a four, four, two formation. That is four defenders, four mid fielders, and two forwards. All the players in these positions have a key point on what they are suppose to accomplish on the field. These are also the three main positions in soccer, the defense, the mid field, and the forward. Without having and playing the correct positions on the field, the game can be very confusing. The most important position on the field is the defense of end. This is where the game is to be won. If there is a strong defense on the field, no goals will be scored against the team. A strong defense should consist of tall and strong people that try to intimidate the opposing team.
