Temperature on Enzymes

Studying the effect of Temperature on Enzymes. Aim and Plan Aim To find the effect of temperature on enzymes, by using amylase and starch. From my results I will be able to find a rate of reaction for each temperature and I will also be able to predict at roughly which stage the enzymes denature. Prediction I predict that as the temperature increases the speed or rate of the reaction will also increase. ... An increase of 10oC would double the rate of reaction, however I also predict that somewhere between 40oC and 50oC the rate of reaction will begin to decrease as the enzymes will have denatured so the reactions will slow down.
