The Federal Reserve chairman Alan Greenspan recently made a very interesting statement in the Congress that could be summarized within the following words: “We experienced in the recent years an unprecedented prosperity but we can’t explain which the forces are that stood behind it”. Nice words for a man, who is supposed to know everything even if the matter is only remotely related to the American economy. Well, let’s try to point out only one of the driving forces, which Stood behind this “remarkable achievements” of the US economy, the one that is most awful forgotten - immigration. The Official data shows that the immigrants in America are considerably more Than are allowed by the laws - at least 1, 1 million a year against 720 000 listed by the different quotas’ systems - skillful workers, Relatives, “green card” holders and so on.
