Implementation Section Main menu: For my main menu interface, I used Visual Basic to create and edit my own code that eventually became my interface. First, I had to create code that would automatically open the interface when the main menu was opened. Then, I had to create the interface background. To do this I had to insert the Digi logo from file and position it in the centre of the page. Then I formatted the background colour to white, as this is one of the Digi colours. After that I inserted and arranged a series of command buttons around the logo until I found a look that I was happy with. I also put in a title at the top centre of the page saying “Digi Internet Lounge.” Then, I edited the command buttons until they all displayed the correct caption, and in the right font and colour. I then created a code for each command button that opened the document that it referred to i.e. for the New Letter button; I inserted code that would open the DigiMaster template with the letterhead. Finally, for the Exit button, I inserted code that would close down MS Word. Letterhead: For my letterhead I simply opened a new document and clicked on View; Header and Footer, and then inserted the Digi logo into the top left of the header along with the address and contact details on the right.
