Even Though New England and the Chesapeake Region were settled mainly by people from England, later the regions both became two distinct societies. They became distinctive in their political, social, and economical ways throughout time. At first you can see that there social distinction were similar in many ways in religion and way of life. As things went a long things began to go in different ways. There religion was based on the England faith when they came over to the new land but when time went along and things started to change New England areas became places for religious refuge for many reasons. After reading these documents you can find out that the beginning of each region started out with people coming from England wether it was families or people wanting to move to a new place.
