When I first began to read The Idea of a Christian College, I was in initial disagreement with some of his points. As he begins his book, he goes through numerous reasons not to attend or support liberal education. ... His intention here is not to conclude that liberal education should not exist. ... The point I couldnĄŻt swallow at first was his explanation of the social and extracurricular benefits of liberal education.
