Civil War
Even though the Northerners won the civil war, in the end the south really won because gradually the Whites were enslaving the Blacks. For example, Sharecropping, which in time lead to debt and former slaves had to work until they finished paying-off also, many hate crime Organizations were created to lessen the rights of Blacks. To weaken the rights of Blacks the Southerners formed a group by the name of Ku Klux Klan (KKK). This group by the name Ku Klux Klan killed many children, women, and men that were Black and in some occasions they even killed Whites (Republicans) that tried to help out the Blacks. They goal was to destroy the Republican parties, to over throw the Reconstruction, and to stop all the African-Americans from getting evolved in anything that relates to politics.
