AIM: The experiment is to show whether the more often a task is completed, the better the participants’ performance. HYPOTHESIS: I think that there will be a link between the amount of times a task is completed and the performance of the participant. VARIABLES: INDEPENDENT VARIABLE- The amount of attempts the participant has (in this experiment the participant has 5 attempts.) DEPENDENT VARIABLE- The number of mistakes the participant Makes on each attempt. EXTRANEOUS VARIABLES- Noise, equipment, concentration, Width and angle of star, cheating. METHOD: Due to lack of time, we could only use a small sample of participants. All five participants that took part in this experiment are members of sixth form, who are studying psychology. Two participants at a time left the room, and entered another to perform the experiment.
