Bill French Accounting
I found some of the statements a little contradictory in the case, which may result in some of the numbers being off depending on the correct interpretation of the statements. Some examples that come to mind are as follows. Sales are expected to be up by 20% next year in unit terms. However Product A will have production down to 400,000 units from 600,000 in the current year. Unless the company is selling off excess inventories, I have to assume that 400,000 is a hard number and there will not be a 20% gain there. Not only that, Product C will be ramping production by 450,000 units to 950,000 units next year.
