Ocean Sunrise We all seen the sunrise and set. But never have I seen a sunrise or sunset as beautiful, as the one I seen while in the Navy. We were off the coast of Norway. About two miles from shore at night you could hear the clubs music playing. After being on the early morning watch (3 a.m. to 6 a.m.). I went to the fantail (the aft or rear of the ship) to have a cigarette and drink, my stomach sticking thick black coffee. While sitting there a fellow crewmate joined me, and we talked about our watches this morning. A slight breeze whipped around the side of the ship, the smell of the fresh, salt sea water in the air.
