We would like to explore using a webcam to facilitate group meetings over the Internet and how it could be used for other help desk functions. In doing so, we will discuss what a webcam is, its uses, and the cost issues that surround it. We will discuss advantages of using a webcam for videoconferencing and equipment that would be needed for set up and support.
