Be Clever, Be Strong, and Saddle Up “The archetype of the hero represents the best that humanity has to offer. This archetype is defined by a rising above everyday limitations of being human to find that godlike element in one’s psyche.” (Conquering Fear and Frailty). The hero is a man who envelops the greatest of all human virtues. A hero has courage, cunnilingus, and great strength. The archetype of the hero is ever prevalent in the Odyssey, however none other then Odysseus King of Ithaca. Odysseus is a great illustration of a hero for he meshes the virtues of courage, cunningness and great strength.
