Monika Walankiewicz Essay 05-28-03 Cracow Cracow, the old capitol of Poland is one of the most famous and glorious towns in Europe. Cracow is colorful, crowded town and it’s teeming with life. It is kept the old castles, however it’s the biggest city in Poland. Cracow is the most beautiful place to visit because it has many unique attractions, traditions and rich culture. It is not a simple task to describe the unique character of Cracow to those who still haven’t had the opportunity to visit this city with many attractions. This uniqueness is primarily due to the rare cultural heritage embodied within the city’s walls. The most interesting and regarded as the highest class of historic and architectural buildings are: the city center- the medieval old town in the boundaries of the Planty, Wawel Hill, the Florian Gate with the Barbican and the remains of the city walls, St. Mary’s Church, the Cloth Hall Tower, Collegium Maius, St. Anne’s Church, Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, Church of St.
