Mohammed Jawad Husain 23rd July 2003 Being Tolerant I am very fortunate to have a father who was working for a UN organization in Geneva. This gave me an opportunity to get an international experience, an opportunity to meet people from different cultures, to learn about the world outside the national and religious sphere I was being brought up in. I feel that if people could come out of their cocoons and go to places outside their countries and interact with people different from themselves and observe the way they live, there would be a more tolerant, peaceful and open minded world. I wish all peoples could experience the world could get an international experience. I feel that Webster University, Geneva campus is part of that international experience. This is why I would like to study at Webster. I was born in Geneva and have lived in Geneva for twenty five years and four years in Boston for my undergrad university studies at Boston University and about six months in Karachi, Pakistan. When I was in Geneva I studied at the International School. At the International school I made friends with people from many nationalities and cultural backgrounds. One of my best friends in school was Gabriel Nanda an American from New York now living in Boston, he was mixed ethnicity, his father was a Punjabi Hindu from India and his mother was a British Jew.
