What was the worst technological disaster of all time? ... The more open-minded people might say it was the Bhopal disaster or Chernobyl. ... Almost all disasters come with a large price, based on that; I don’t think that is a reasonable thing to base a disaster on. If there is anything to judge the extent of a disaster it would be loss of human life, set backs in research, or environmental pollution.
There are two disasters that have been worst than any other disaster in terms of loss of life, and environmental pollution. Some say the worst disaster was the Bhopal disaster, while others say it was Chernobyl. I personally believe it was the disaster at Chernobyl.
