Ever since the shores of Northern Ireland were greeted by Britain’s prescience, there has been an on going affect towards the Catholics that have formulated an uprising amongst Catholic issues and views directed towards British involvement. I stand here today on behalf of the Irish-Catholics in Northern Ireland in an attempt to suppress any British involvement within Northern Ireland. Through past events there have been numerous occasions that have provoked such feelings amongst Catholics in Northern Ireland that have led to this. Bloody Sunday, Bloody Friday and the Home Rule are amongst a culmination of factors that have some unfortunate impact upon Catholics. Know I want you to listen carefully to this quote stated by the British when they began their efforts of having some kind of impact upon Northern Ireland, “To support the RUC in the defeat of terrorism and assist in the Government's objective of restoring normality to the Province.” As seen by this quote the British attempted this and may have seen some success to some degree, however one event that had completely contradicted such a statement began on the Sunday of January 30 1972, or Bloody Sunday.
