Canada and their military forces and Canada’s population have played an increasingly strong role during the series of war related events in the twentieth century, including World War One, World War Two, the Cold War, and the Post-Cold War era. Canada as a colony of Britain and the British Empire got pulled into war related world issues with little or no say in the matter. With an evolving military force Canada contributed all they could to the war effort or as it was called in Korea “a mere police action” . Afterward Canada turned itself into a country of they’re own, and no longer under British rule nor a part of the British empire Canada continued to contribute all they could through their military forces. While still under the British rule Canada fought in the First World War, where the solders of the up and coming nation proved themselves to be worthy of fighting for the cause and for the world. At the time for the Second World War Canada took time in making the decision of joining the effort, since now they were more of their own self-ruling nation. ...
At the time of the First World War Canada had been a colony of Britain and of the British Empire. This meant that the empire had control of Canada and which gave them the choice of involving Canada in World War One.
