3 ideal principles of goverment

There are many different forms of governments in today’s world. Many of them are oppressive to the people for whom they serve which results is disharmony and malcontent. There are certain principles that a government must follow to keep the people content. Government, being the basis for a society’s political rule, should incorporate the principles of individual rights, democracy and reform into everyday functions. The most important principle a government should preserve is the rights of individual freedom. Without these rights, the government would be communist in nature, therefore oppressive of the people. Governments should not be able to control such essential things as free speech, right to due process, and right of religion. These rights are very important considering that all people need to live the way they would like, as long as it is peacefully. It is when others become destructive of these rights that unrest occurs. Religion should not be forced on anybody in a free country. All people should have the choice to believe or not believe any religon they want.
