I spot a cliff up ahead, get ready to jump, and as soon as my board leaves the ground I lean forward, my entire body falls towards the ground, but I hit the light, fluffy snow board first, thankfully. ... There’s a big open strip of snow now so I can really get my speed up. ... I stumble to the ground and grasp the snow beneath my fingers.
