PERSONALITY The subject of personality is one of my favorites. I find it very interesting to study, and or observer people of all type, young and old. As I watch my children grow and develop into certain stages of life I can compare them to Freud’s stages of personality. This has been exciting in pointing out which one did what and the age that they did it at. In the first stage, which is the oral stage, both of my children were much different then the other. My youngest son, Seth found oral gratification from a pacifier and still uses it every now and then and he just turned three. Biting became a huge problem at day care with him, but he too got a dose of his own medicine, in return he got bitten too. Everything lying around the house always went straight to his mouth; I don’t think I can count the times that I told him to take stuff out of his mouth.
