The room boomed with the noise of people, music, and dancing. The lights flashed many different colors and speeds. Everything in the place was unfamiliar. My head soon developed a pounding, sort of like someone with a mallet hitting me repeatedly on the head. Thumping over and over the unbearable sound failed to cease. The horrid noise pushed through my body and flowed out my ears.
