4/18 4 Canadian Soldiers have now died in America’s war. Canada’s support has yielded praise, and our loss has churned powerful words from the Bush administration. A quick condolence from the President himself, and a letter. A letter praising Canadian’s for bearing tremendous loss to help make the world safe. I don’t buy that. The deaths of those soldiers were in vain. More than in vain, they were gratuitous. They may have been hero’s but their death’s were anything but heroic, what glory is there in dying while training to fight an American war? At the hands of the Americans. America’s War Do not be fooled, this is their fight. Terrorism is a two-way street. Terrorists target other terrorists. They may harm many thousands of innocent citizens in the fray, but that is not the broad goal of terrorism.
