Lord of the Flies Reflective Essay Tyler Griffith The novel Lord of the Flies contains many different scenes in which you can portray yourself. What actions you use when you portray yourself can differ very much from person to person. I will address what actions I would use in specific scenes throughout the novel. The scenes I will use to portray myself in include the confrontation between Jack and Ralph over Jack not helping build the huts, the confrontation between Jack and Ralph after the first kill, when the fire goes out, and when piggy gets killed. The first situation deals with the first confrontation between Jack and Ralph, they should go about handling the situation in a different way. If I had been Ralph in the situation I would have tried to work out a schedule with Jack. The schedule would consist of him being able to hunt, but he would also have to spend a certain amount of time during the day helping Ralph and Simon build the huts.
