The graduation of such a diverse group of high school students is a time for celebration, a time to remember the past and to dream about the future, or shall I say think about the future. The graduating class of 2003 is made up off so many different enthusiastic young students trying to find their way into the big wide world. Parents, Teachers, admin, invited guests and most importantly the graduating class of 2003, a wise man once said “You’ll never know what is behind the door unless you open it”. Welcome to the end of the corridor, it’s now time to begin through another door. But which door to choose is up to you, and the choices you have already made. When first coming into the gates of Beerwah State High School, we opened a very important door which basically was going to decide what corridor we would be walking down now and to decide the rest of our life. High school has been something different for every one of us, whether we were involved in academics, music, sports, cultural pursuits or simply struggling to survive. It has been said that high school is the best five years of our lives. For some people high school was a wonderful experience, learning new and interesting things every day. But some people did not appreciate being the object of school ground bullying for five years, therefore it a was miserable time. For all of us though, the best years of our lives should be in the many years and experiences to come. We won’t all become rich and famous, although I’m sure we’d all like to be, but if the opportunity does ever come up just remember I’m here, if you would like to sponsor me in my studies. Everyone is given lots of opportunities and choices in life, if you do end up fulfilling your dreams after a few years you know that you have made the right choices with the opportunities you were given.
