I feel the feeling I forgot- Trey Anastasio, "free"
In my case, I feel the feeling I never knew. For a year I have heard about how amazing Phish concerts are. So during the second semester of my sophomore year I had been crossing my fingers in hopes that Phish would play somewhere in the northwest. ... That night sleeping was tough due to the noise and the Phish chants that seemed to echo through the campground every 30 minutes. ... (Phish plays there concerts in a series of two shows with a 30 minute break in between)
During the set break I looked at the people surrounding me a little more closely. ...
1) The Phunky Bitches- roving groups of female Phish "Phans" who travel to every show. ...
4) Basic Phish fans- Hippies who claim to hate capitalism but for some reason smoke cigarettes constantly. ...
As for the rest of the concert, Phish lived up to all of the hype, just getting better and better as the night went on. The other concerts I went to had nothing compared to Phish.
