As I researched the history of Skiing, I learned that many people had many different ideas about the history of skiing and how it came about. As I researched I found that Sondre Norheim, an epic if sad figure, whose experiments led to the modern ski shape and the fixed binding which made modern skiing styles possible, had a big role in skiing history.
