Procrastination “I’ll work on it later, I’ve got 3 days to do it . . .” Are you one of those people always waiting to the last minute to do something? This characteristic is classified as “procrastination.” Today I will share with you why you should not waste time, how wasting time can hurt you, and how to refrain from wasting time. First of all, wasting time is after all, wasting time. Procrastination puts you even further and further away from your destination. Procrastination is an excuse for laziness. If you do it now, you’ll do it when you become older. You will miss deadlines for scholarships, job applications, vocational license renewal and many other important events. Wasting time will hinder you from reaching your absolute and final goal. Second, procrastination has many side effects, which range from major stress to a decrease in grades.
