I was first inspired with becoming a stockbroker when I was studying my GCSE’s. The thought of international trading of stocks and the risk involved when dealing with other people’s money had truly fascinated me. To fulfil this ambition of mine I carefully selected the A-levels that I am currently studying, which are Mathematics with Statistics and Decision modules, Economics and Computing, I also studied AS level Accounting. To further my goal I have decided to pursue a degree in Economics. This degree is ideally suited to me, as I have studied the subject from GCSE level and have thoroughly enjoyed and understood it. This degree will present me with a stepping stone to a diverse range of business related careers. The business world intrigues me as I feel there is no other career path that would provide me with the challenges and stimulation in such a highly competitive environment. I spend a considerable amount of my time participating in various sports that include football, cricket and badminton.
