The Catholic Church is very definite on its views on abortion. It states that all human life is of value and condemned crimes against life "such as any type of murder,genocide and abortion. ... The arguments for having an abortion range from the woman being to young, having a career to worry about, financial problems, being a single parent, the child being handicapped physically or mentally, being the wrong sex this is particularly true of some Asian cultures and finally the mothers life being at risk from either carrying the child or not having required medical treatment for herself as it could damage the unborn child.
