Goshen – Jury selection in the case against Middletown rape suspect Peter Starr is expected to begin today in Orange County Court. Starr, 33, was indicted in November on charges of first-degree sodomy and two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, felonies. While awaiting trial, Starr tried to make arrangements to have three people killed: the victim, the victim's friend who escaped the attack and a Middletown detective, police said. He was later indicted on three counts of second-degree criminal solicitation.
