AFFORDANCES The scroll bars (figure 3.1) in this website visibly afford to be moved up and down very clearly. The close (x) buttons afford to be clicked on to close the boxes (figure 3.2) and all the underlined texts afford to be clicked on to take the user to the designated links (figure 3.3). All these affordances are clearly visible and work very successfully. However, there are several unsuccessful affordances. Most links in this site are underlined, which afford to be clicked on. Yet, there are links that are not underlined (figure 3.4).
