Before we get deep into a conversation about depression, lets first make sure we understand exactly what it is. The term depression is used to label a wide range of disorders from a sense of the blues or blahs, SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder), Dysthymia a longer lasting but mild form, and bi-polar disorder, marked by pendulum periods of depression and exhilaration. The first and most common type of depression is sometimes referred to as feeling blue or having the blahs. ...
