In the beginning Lestat was befriended by Nicolas, who runs away with Lestat to Paris where they found happiness in a playhouse called the Boulevard du Temple. One night, Lestat was taken from his bed and became the making of a Vampire. After Lestat’s abandonment, he was left to learn the ways of Vampirism and of his fortunes. After Lestat had became accustomed, he returned to his beloved Paris and situated himself.
