In the poem “Rape” by Adrienne Rich a young lady had something horrible happen in her life and she had to do something about it, but in order to do something about it she had to confront the problem that caused her the pain and troubles. ... Yet she seats and gives him all the details of the rape and told him as much as she knew. ... She is convinced that the cop is the rapist because she feels that all men are a threat to her, because she doesn’t know who actually did rape her. ...
