An Unnecessary Evil September 11th will forever be embedded in my mind. It was the day that affected everyone's life, in one way or another. Terrorism struck this country in one of the worst ways possible. Thousands of innocent lives were lost, along with millions of people's peace of mind. The natural thing for one to do in an act like this is retaliate. But is retaliation really necessary? Countries fight against each other and get nothing solved. Time, and more importantly, lives are wasted and lost. Many times wars have been ended by some type of peace treaty or compromise. People have to die and suffer before these treaties are thought of. Why didn't the countries think of these treaties and compromises before all the fighting began?
